Welcome to the website of your family tree
The popular conundrum for family tree administrators is what to name it, and where to start, as trees are an ever moving feast, with everyone in the family having a different perspective. This tree originally revolved around my immediate family, hence its name, but it has now grown and matured now covering 8 generations of your extended family, featuring over 280 people and includes over 200 photos and scanned documents.
Now, over 75 related family names have appeared, all of which are in some way connected to you. This is YOUR family history

I hope that you will enjoy the level of interest that I have for newly discovered distant relatives spread right across the globe as well as your ancestors who lived in times gone by.

Creating an historical document like this takes many years and only by your contribution can it become truly interesting
Ours is really only in its infancy and we have a long way to go to locate the accurate details and records of our family, particularly our ancestors. Your tree can grow with each new discovery, with space for multiple photos for each person and room for their detailed life histories or interesting anecdotes.
Please search through this tree and click on each person for their story, or their personal ancestry. You may know something special about your ancestors, so make a contribution for other family to see.

Only in recent times with the advent of superb web pages and the rapid growth of digital records has such a graphic account of your family been able to be illustrated and widely communicated.
Certainly it started with my core family, but the real fascination can be found amongst your distant relatives. I am pleased to have started this journey and hope that it sheds some light for you on your family connections.
The task before us now is still huge, and I invite you all to make a real contribution to its historical future.

My focus now is to continue to research our various ancestors which is truly interesting In the meantime, please explore this tree. Click on your family connection to open up your personal pages. Many people here have multiple photos at different stages of their lives, and some have interesting stories. You can make your very own contribution by sending me lots of photos, stories of achievements, or just personal anecdotes, war records, certificates and above all corrections! Accuracy is all important and information sources are critical. Family stories can so easily become legend, or simply lost over the mists of time. Individual anecdotes are invaluable in bringing life and humanity to those who have since passed on, so please tell us your stories and memories of your ancestors

Finally, please pass this information to your children or other family members that you are in contact with to further the search for family information. Contact me with any queries and please give me any corrections that you may have.
Above all, please remember, this is not my page. It is YOUR FAMILY HISTORY Regards
 Robert Atkins theatkins123@bigpond.com

PS. Regrettably only I, as Administrator am authorised to make additions and changes. The validity and accuracy of information is critical to the integrity of the document, so please send all your contributions by email (or snail mail) to me for posting on the site

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
